Every country on this beautiful sphere that we call earth has its own view on society. All countries around the world views America as being the land of the free and the land of being able to express yourself, but their just looking through a microscope .Whether those countries know it or not America has flaws. One of Americans biggest flaw is racial discrimination against people of color. When Jim Crow laws were introduced in the 1890’s it had a lasting effect on people of color socially, mentally, and their opportunities.

Even though the Unions rules regarding seniority has nothing to do with race it can still be viewed as a form of institutional racism against African Americans, because the union is majority is white. Therefore whites are going to have more power when it comes to making decisions then what African It’s not fair for African Americans because they are the minority not the majority so their chances of having sonority are slim because there will always be someone in front of them. Also the unions predominantly white so the rule of seniority and ability to make decisions sway in their favor, not the African Americans.

The Medical Mistreatment of African Americans throughout History Throughout history, African Americans have been exploited not only through hard labor, but in research facilities and hospitals. African Americans have been tested on, abused, and researched without their consent, knowledge, nor full-understanding. Many times they were given false information to rationalize what was happening to them. African Americans were also not administered anesthetics while undergoing surgeries and other painful procedures.
Police officers are entitled to care and protect the citizens of the country? In recent news, white male police officers have corrupted their use of power and used unnecessary, excessive force against African American males. Police brutality with African Americans resulted in the Walter Scott case, Michael Brown case, Trayvon Martin Case, and Eric Garner case. The following cases are referred to as racist to the public because of white male police officers are doing avoidable acts to African American males. The justifications induced rioting and protesting in the community of the African American males.
I think it was wrong to treat blacks unequally because of something they can 't control. They can 't control what their skin color is or what they were born with, so how does it make sense? Integration was very important at this time, just imagine your family was treated unfairly no matter how long you fought for your country. African Americans fought in wars side by side of whites and yet still get treated unfairly just because they have darker skin. I think that segregation is sort of like communism, no matter how hard you fight you cannot reach a higher even in life.
The treatment many police officers have towards African Americans is unjustified. Police officers have certain protocols and rules to follow certain scenarios. This is to prevent casualties as much as possible and to protect bystanders. However, when do some of these actions go overboard? Recently, there have been many cases involving police brutality against African Americans in which some had costed their lives.
In recent years, a spotlight has been placed on innocent black men being murdered by law enforcement through news media. In fact, many times these cases have been spoken about as, “police brutality”, which almost lessens the crisis of black lives that were lost. Whether through beatings or headlocks, the fact remains that black citizens have been taken by law enforcement with no legal repercussions. American voices must be raised against the police brutality against black citizens for the sake of equality, humanity and justice.
I have chosen to document and research African-American Hate Crimes during the eras of 2007 until 2015. With recent cases of Sandra Bland, Eric Garner, Trayvon Martin and the crimes of San Jose University, I believe this research is more than needed. By researching several forms of accurate and up-to-date literature and research findings I will promote and compile the most accurate and efficient research of these factors as possible with the prevalent information found from over 20 different sources, direct and indirect. Subjects will include and will be limited to African Americans between the ages of 15 and 35, Law Enforcement Officials within Southern States v. It is very true that African Americans have made many strides in the past few decades in relation to equality and freedom. However, racism and segregation are still present to this day. Many African Americans are killed and mistreated simply because of the pigment in their skin. The only difference is, many people are still oblivious to this fact more than they were years ago. This blindness comes from the idea that America has overcome these racial conditions.
Only you are in a dull back street late around evening time. All of a sudden a man rises up out of an entryway. If you are a white American and he is a youthful black man, inside of a couple of tenths of a second you will feel a fear as your brain consequently orders him. The racist culture propagated by white Americans centuries ago, created a vicious cycle of violence, crime, and blame that white Americans of today are still having to pay for. While the reality is that the majority of Americans today are not racist, the culture of fear and paranoia in the black community that was created generations ago, is still very much present. Racism is an ever growing issue in the world, and something we can’t hide behind. According to dictionary.com the defintion of racism is: “the belief that all members of each race possess characteristics, abilities, or qualities specific to that race, especially so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races.” Race was created socially by how people perceive ideas and faces people are not used to yet. It is the “hatred” of one person to another individual, solely based on that person's belief that the person is inferior because of their language, birthplace and skin colour. Racism is an issue that has lasted throughout history, providing justification for a group’s dominance over another.
“You don 't fight racism with racism, the best way to fight racism is with solidarity.” Naturally, societies don’t tend to understand change, and it scares them. Similar people in majority have their own principles, and when someone different interferes, they simply try to push it out. These people think that the minorities are their inferior. This belief is known as racism.
