Growing up, I had always been interested in the function of body structures. My interest in body structures lead me to pursue a career in the healthcare field. I have chosen radiography as a career because of my strong desire to help others, my passion to learn, and challenging myself. In May of 2017, I started working at Sanford Health in Fargo, North Dakota, as a patient care technician in the cardiac progressive care unit. Since then, I have developed a strong interest in the medical field and a love for the constant challenges that each day brings. Radiography is a challenging, yet rewarding portion of the healthcare industry. With the always changing technology and evolving patient care, I am eager to obtain a career with the challenge of learning new information on a daily basis. I also have a desire to be challenged as an individual. I enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and dealing with different situations every day. I am passionate about setting goals for myself and achieving them. With my commitment to this career field, I want to become an intern at the Sanford Health Radiography Program in Bismarck, North Dakota. …show more content…

The Radiographer Program in Bismarck, North Dakota has a 95% pass rate for students who have taken the ARRT exam in the last five years. This statistic makes me confident that your program is exactly where I want to complete my radiographer internship. Bismarck is also close to my supportive family. My older sister also resides long-term in Bismarck, while she works at Augusta Place- A Prospera Community (a joint venture between The Good Samaritan Society and Sanford).
