Most four year as well as two year colleges and vocational schools offer a certificate/degree path for the generalized field. An associate’s degree is the most common educational path to become licensed or certified and vary by state. (Bureau of Labor Statistics 2015) The main focus of studies will include but not limited to anatomy, biology, chemistry, physiology, mathematics, and physics. High school students that are interested in majoring in radiology should focus their course work around said subjects to obtain an early understanding and further basic knowledge in the field to help them more accurately choose a major when the time comes.
