The dog approached a nearby cell and stuck its snout between the bars. Slowly, a tiny, delicate hand reached out. Short, skinny fingers combed through the animal's hair causing strands to fall. Rainsford wasn't entirely certain about what he was witnessing. The hound soon pulled away and continued down the hall, peering into each cell. It was quickly nearing Rainsford.
