In the novel Lord of the Flies, by William Golding, two of the main characters, Ralph and Jack share different and similar leadership qualities. The leaders may share similar attributes, however as their journey continues, their hopes and goals become more indifferent by the day. The great differences in the way they use these attributes are beneficial to both themselves and others. In the beginning of the novel it can be seen that both Ralph, and Jack shared similar beliefs. Agreeing upon a set of rules and order among the group of juvenile boys. Ralph uses his power and leadership skills to create a democracy, where each person has the right to speak their mind, and have their opinion heard. “I’ll give the conch to the next person
