In the allegory novel, The Lord of the Flies written by William Golding, shows the examples of a good and a bad leader. I believe that a good leader is not bias and shows that he is interested into what others have to say. A good leader that could be obviously noticed is Ralph. He is one of the protagonist throughout the book, yes he has his good and bad times in the book but he truly tries to be stable. From the beginning he is one of the most liked characters. He shows his leadership by giving orders in a respectful way. “If we have a signal going, they'll come and take us off. And another thing. We ought to have more rules. Where the conch is, that's a meeting. The same up here as down there.” (page 25 Lotf) Ralph plans things ahead and show that he will take care of the group. Ralph is just more precise and careful with his words. Instead Jack is more of a rebellious person. Jack does not want to follow the rules and says whatever comes to his mind. For Jack, he hurts peoples feelings and is selfish. The complete opposite to Ralph, with Ralph the group enjoys his company and agreed from the start as Ralph to be leader. “Vote for chief….
