Ralph Tresvant is well-known Afro-American R&B singer from Boston. He was the lead singer of the famous five-member "boy band New Edition" in the 1980s. The group was established in 1978 and went on to be one of the top pop teen idols. This was after releasing several successful singles such as ''Mr.Telephone Man," "Candy Girl," and "Cool It Now." Ralph was born in Boston, Massachusetts on May 16, 1968, as Ralph Edward Tresvant Junior.
