Random Acts of Kindness What do you think about being kind? Do you do random acts of kindness? Sometimes it just feels so good to get a compliment. Or for someone to do something funny that makes you laugh every time you think about it. ¨There is less kindness in public life, which trickles down and invites people to be less kind in our personal lives,¨ says psychologist Harriet Lerner. So many people these days have been hurt from others being mean. When they do not get kindness towards them, they treat others the same way. We need to spread kindness in every way we can. The Little things Sometimes, even the little things can make someone 's day. Just a little compliment can help someone. I would always love when people would give me compliments on my glasses that I wore when I was younger. It just made me so happy and it would make my day. Other things you could do for people is holding the door open for them, ask kids in your class if they need help with their homework , ask to do yard work for a next door neighbor, and donating to cause. Just some simple acts of kindness can change people 's lives forever. Conclusion As you can see kindness is a big part of everyone 's life. Kindness makes people happy, cheers them up, makes their day, and many other things. Kindness is something everyone can do. Sometimes kindness is hard for some people to do, yet I think everyone is able to do it. It 's not that hard to say something kind to someone.
