Program Mission Statement
The football program exists to supplement the education process of those students who wish to challenge themselves both physically and emotionally. The program will offer student athletes the opportunities to learn and understand the values of attitude, commitment, responsibility, accountability, work ethic, and teamwork. The operational basis of the program is designed for each student to be challenged in these areas to develop into the best young person possible.

Varsity Program Goals
All athletes are expected to put forth their best effort always. We will strive to compete for district championships in each varsity sport, while upholding our ideals of sportsmanship, respect, commitment, and integrity. Coaches are not expected to give equal playing time. Playing time is based on performance. This is a competitive experience where achievement and outcome are the high priorities.
Junior Varsity and Freshman Program Goals
Junior Varsity and freshman programs are geared to augment the Varsity programs. Player development is the primary goal of these programs. Athletes should be given a chance to play and improve their skills. While equal playing time is not expected, everyone should have an opportunity to compete. Having multiple lower squad teams will help accomplish this goal. Close communication between the Varsity head coach and the JV and freshman coaches is important and expected. Coaches are expected to be dressed and ready to go before the players arrive.
2. Get your drills ready before practice.
3. Work with every player. DON’T LET ONE PLAYER GO UNNOTICED
4. Be properly dressed in school colors
5. Do not curse at the players
6. If you’ve jumped a player, make sure this is resolved before the day is done.
7. After practice roam around the locker room giving praise for a job well done.
8. Everyone will stay after practice for films or meetings. The next day’s practice must be planned before we leave
9. Do not overlook a thing when working with our kids. Technique, attitude, sportsmanship etc..
10. HUSTLE EVERYWHERE AND IT WILL BECOME CONTAGIOUS!
11. You can’t have “pumped up” payers if you are not pumped up yourself. Enthusiasm breeds enthusiasm.
12. Never send a player off the field without sending him to the head coach first.
13. If it is extremely hot, be cognizant of heat prostration problems
14. Strive to make your group the best on the fields
15. Everything on the practice field must be done by players with exceptional quickness. “YOU PLAY LIKE YOU PRACTICE”
16. Give the players little secrets to help them.
17. Always throw a surprise wrinkle at your players to keep them
