There are many real life scenarios that are are similar to fictional works. One real world scenario that relates to Stiletto is the murder of Silverio Acosta on June 16, 2013 (Watson). Acosta and his family were attending a championship game on Father’s Day, when Saul Castillo ran toward Acosta, asking “Do you remember me?” (Watson). Castillo then proceeded to fire five shots into Acosta’s head, chest, and hand (Watson). Castillo claimed that Acosta murdered his father in El Salvador whenever he was a small child, 31 years ago (Watson). This real life story relates to the storyline of Raina because Castillo took recieving justice for his father into his own hands, just as Raina did with Stasia. Both Raina and Castillo waited a considerable amount to get justice; Castillo took 31 years, while Raina took one year, after she had found out what she believed to be the truth. However, despite the lapse in time, both entities received what they believed to be justice for their respective family members. There are various real world crimes that relate to And Then There Were None, one of the most prominent being the murder of Seath Jackson, which occurred in April of 2011 (Tuttle). Amber Wright was found guilty in the murder of Jackson, after luring him to a home with a string of text messages that suggested a rekindling of their relationship (Tuttle). However, upon arrival, Jackson was beaten, shot, had his legs broken, and was stuffed inside of a sleeping bag by Wright and four others (Tuttle). The group disposed of his body by burning it in a backyard fire pit, then proceeded to disperse his ashes into paint cans (Tuttle). Many of the individuals involved had an ill-will towards Jackson
