The reality TV show Dance Moms can represent the women's civil rights movement. The show follows the story of Abby Lee Miller, a dance instructor and her students who are all striving to reach the top. The show has highlighted the struggles of many young girls in the entertainment industry, and how they have to fight for their voice to be heard as well as receiving respectful coaching. Through the show, we can see the relevance of the issues faced by women in the civil rights movement, such as the right to speak their mind and the right to be respected and heard. Dance Moms can be perceived as a unique insight into the struggles that women face. Dance Moms is a reality tv show following a group of dancers at the Abby Lee Dance Company. Abby Lee Miller is the girls dance teacher and is shown as being very strict and rude towards the girls. The dancers' moms are also featured on the show. They protest for their daughters to be treated with compassion and kindness, which Abby does not give to the girls. Each week Abby puts the girls' photos up resembling a pyramid. Both groups of women were willing to put themselves out there and take a stand for what they believed in, even if it meant facing criticism or opposition. The dance Moms and the Suffragettes were also passionate about their cause and believed in the power of the collective to create change. The moms were willing to group together to stand up to Abby for their kids to receive fair treatment. Even though doing this would most likely make Abby take her anger out back onto the mom. They strove to empower and inspire other women to join their cause and work together to create a better future and
