In the lottery people are sacrificed each year in order to stop the decreasing of the villages crops. Some people might look at it as crucial and some might look at it as a fun tradition. The lottery takes place in a small village consisting of 300 people , The people in this village are rural and old fashion which is one of the reasons why they still haven’t got rid of this horrific ritual.
