Why do vacancies occur in Luton Sixth Form College?
Vacancies may occur in LSFC because a particular department is being expanded. Therefore more staff will be needed to fill the gaps and ensure there is enough staff working in the department. Also LSFC could be looking to employ experienced staff in order to help the college succeed. Experienced staff could be employed from competitors such as Barnfield. Some staff may leave on maternity/paternity leave, therefore LSFC will need to recruitment staff to take their place until they return. This can either be long term recruitment men or short term meaning temporary work for staff being recruitment for the particular vacancy. Why do vacancies occur in Starbucks?
Vacancies may occur in Starbucks as they could be opening more stores. This would mean more staff are needed to fill in the vacancies for the new store that is being opened. Also old staff may get promoted to a high job within the business e.g. Waiter being promoted to assistant manager. The waiter’s job will need to replace with a new employee. Vacancies may also if Starbucks are looking for experienced staff to help them succeed and bring new skills and ides into the business. These sort of employees with skills and experience could be recruited from competitors such as Costa.
