Chueyee Xiong Professor Kahlert English 13 September 15, 2014 A Rebuttal of the Air Force of the Air Force Project Mogul Explanation… Researcher Don Berliner’s report on the Roswell Incident of 1947 suggests that the government is trying to cover-up the alien ship. According to Berliner, the GAO concluded that records regarding the incident either were destroyed or went missing. As a result, there was no clear indication of what happened then, and no way to track down key witnesses involved. The American Air Force stated that it was a Mogul balloon that crashed. However, it does not add up what should have happened to the balloon if it were to descend to the surface. In accordance to Berliner’s research, the actions taken by the government and the Air Force during this event were very questionable. No clear reason was given as to why they decided to take such extreme measures when recovering the debris. Berliner confirms from the GAO that reports from Roswell were “destroyed against regulations”, so records were not available regarding those who were those who were responsible for guarding the crash site, who was in charge, and anyone else who took part in …show more content…
Air Force clarified that there was no cover-up for the Roswell Incident in 1947 considering the Air Force was unable to find any evidence of debris relating to a UFO. Thus, the Air Force decided that the wreckage found in the Roswell Incident was from the Mogul balloon. Secondly, the Air Force explains how the military lacked the resources to carry out a big operation to cover-up the Roswell Incident. The Air Force also states that there were no “alien bodies” within the wreckage for three reasons. Aside from that, people claiming to have seen them cannot come to an agreement in regards to specific details about the “aliens” and people refuse to go public, according to the Air Force.
