Death is not red but does not avert. With the short about the hidden meaning of the red death during a masquerade ball, held by Prince Prospero, while hiding from the death of the outside. Soon before, the prince through a masquerade party, he was isolated for 5-6 months. Clues were given with the irregular details, never showing that the plague is killing most of his citizens while being barracked. Even though “The Masque of the Red Death” by Edgar Allen Poe uses word choice and symbolism to create the theme that death is neither breakable or escapable, only by time. Throughout "The Masque of the Red Death", the were riddles and rhythms with meaning with in our time. With the story that visualize on the basic meaning of death, the obvious symbol for the mask man is death. But what about the seven rooms? According towards the colors and the furniture, the flowing details similar to the seven stages of man. Even if that seems bazar, the color arrangement from doors to end (blue, purple, green, white, orange, violet, and black) syncrify with the stages of man order (baby, schoolboy, lover, soldier, justice, old, and dead). In the very end the story speak,"Into the black apartment, and seizing the mummer whose tall figure stood erect and motionless within the shadows of the ebony clock, gasped in unuttered horror at finding the grave." It speaks in a way of death in the black room like the states of man. Even the grandfather clock plays a role of repetitive foreshadowing which spams its presents. Like stated,"Peculiar a note and emphasis that, at each lapse of an hour, gives it constant presents,". Even the music or distraction stops as some presents is hard to ignore. For example, "Sounding of midnight upon the clock. And then the music ceased," represent that the distraction for what caves in our own mind in our sight when that present is near.
