Reflection About 9/11
Two planes hit the twin towers. Flight 175 and flight 11. Flight 175 took off at 8:14 AM, and flight 11 took off at 8:13AM.Flight 175 had 64 people on it and flight 11 had 92 people on it. Everyone thought it was just going to be a normal flight, but little did they know that that that was going to be the end of their life. 9/11 is all about two planes hitting the twin towers.

Do you know the difference between these two tragic attacks? These two events have both differences and similarities. A huge similarity they have is that both of these attack had a huge impact on the united states.
Personal Response: I thought this was a good book and it got right to the point. I liked how the author made Lucas 's family a part of the fire department. It gave it an inside look on how the firefighters were affected. I really liked that there were facts about the real September 11th at the very end of the book.

Men and women prepared themselves for another work day and school children settled in their seats for a day’s lesson. But before the mornings of people’s everyday life could begin, a tragic incident occurred, killing thousands of American citizens and breaking the hearts of many more. B. Thesis: The World Trade Center crashes were significant in many different ways to the U.S. and when they were destroyed, American citizens were stunned and heartbroken. C. Main Points: 1.
The 9/11 tragedy was a moment where people had their guard up at all times. This was a time where life had strike to reality of time warfare with every person and country. Couldn’t trust no one that came to the U.S. America is the land of the free and the home of the brave, were brave because the generations before us had to face what had happened and to what is going to happen. This had left the buildings torn instantly killing hundreds of many people, getting them stuck in the higher floors. This attack was the worst in America ever since the Pearl Harbor All over our nation saw a major impact of devastation in the face of the September 9, 2001attacks.
The shock and disbelief of 9/11 revealed that America felt that something like this could not possibly happen to us. It showed that the security of our country had been compromised
Nearly the whole country watched in horror on the morning of September 11, 2001. As the planes crashed and the towers burned, many thought it simply wasn’t true. They believed that it was impossible that someone could hate America that much. It was true, and it left lasting effects on Americans everywhere. Al-Qaeda had carried out a plan so horrific that it killed nearly three thousand people.

All of these events demonstrated that al-Qaeda could carry out terrifying attacks thousands of miles away from its base in Afghanistan. Al- qaeda’s leaders did not care about their gruesome actions. In their minds, God was on their side so they could do no wrong. Many people to this day still question our government about the 9/11 attacks and why someone did not take action before it got to this point.
9/11 was a very sad time for everyone. The World Trade Center was built in 1973. The towers stood 110 stories high. It took 50,000 workers to build the World Trade Center. 200,000 visitors worked or shopped in it.
The tragedy on September 11, 2001, has been labeled as the most disastrous event on American soil in the nation's history. However, few know of the long history of events that caused the terrorist group, Al-Qaeda, to attack the United States. These events all funneled into that cloudless September day in which the old America was destroyed, and set the stage for a new age in the United States. 9/11 was caused by the leader of Al Qaeda, Osama Bin Laden. His 1998 fatwa against the U.S, The Siege of Beirut, and the symbolism of the World Trade Center as well as the Pentagon drove the terrorists to commit these attacks.
The attacks resulted in the deaths of nearly 3,000 people, mostly Americans. The perpetrators of the attacks were later identified as members of the Islamic extremist group al-Qaeda, led by Osama bin Laden. The 9/11 attacks had an immediate and profound impact on American society. In the aftermath of the attacks, Middle Easterners and Muslims in America became the target of widespread suspicion, discrimination, and hatred.
What's on your mind?9-11 changed us all… God’s numbers are 7 and 14 and it has been 14 years since 9-11 happened. Yet, a rainbow appeared to mark the spot for us to take notice. Even though we don’t get the full scope of why it happened or who Bin Laden is or what is going to happen next. God is trying to make us think for ourselves…. See with your eyes and hear with your heart.
