1.0 Introduction

Reflection log is a personalized learning resource. This reflection log will showcase the thinking and learning skills I received from module (IS6136 - Professional Practice Skills), which is enhanced by a peer learning system. In this peer system, I was encouraged to discuss and share my thoughts, as well as to develop my reflection log in a collaborative way. The reflection log helped me to extend and elaborate my understanding. Section 2.0 of this log will discuss five major takeaway from this module and learning expectation set by the lecturer. Section 3.0 will conclude the reflection log.

• Organisation Background
This section briefly describe the background of the organisation. Organisation background information cover a range of areas, including how and why the organisation was set up, how it is run, what geographical area it covers and what issues they are trying to resolve.
• Framework Analysis
This section discuss the analysis of multiple frameworks (lens). The justification of the chosen framework and the pros & cons of other frameworks analysed.
• Framework Application
This section applies the chosen framework with the case study to analyse the challenge and come up with recommendation.
• Key Challenges
This section explains the key challenges faced by the organisation. Framework application helps to analyse the challenge in organisation.
• Recommendation
This section provides the recommendation for the key challenges found after the application of the framework to the case study.
• Conclusion
This section recaps the main point’s i.e. key challenges, and recommendation covered in the presentation.

Below are learning from different groups’ presentation and lecturer feedbacks.
• As suggested by the lecturer, I tried different techniques such as to practice in front of the mirror and friend or a family member to get feedback on presentation skills, which helped me to gain my confidence.
• I felt the YouTube video recommended by lecturer entitled “Killer Presentation skills” helped me to improve my presentation skills.
• Look presentable by dressing well for the presentation, which show the level of professionalism. As quoted by my lecturer “Appearance says a lot about someone’s personality and confidence”.
• I develop to have a code for complete sentences or paragraphs which helps to elaborate on the information presented.
• Keep eye contact with the audience.
• Speak in a loud and clear voice to get the presentation through to the audience even the ones sitting further away.
