We read the book “Night” by Elie Wiesel. Elie Wiesel was actually in the Holocaust and survived. After the Holocaust Elie decided to write a book about a family that went through the Holocaust and actually included some of his memories of the Holocaust within the book. In Night Elie Wiesel uses Eliezer’s experience with faith to show how going through a traumatic experience can change your faith and that you don’t need faith to get through a hard time, but it definitely helps.
