1. Hi guys, my name is Cherrie Putrinuto and I have been in GRC since Fall 2015, and this is will be my last quarter in GRC. My plan after I get my AA degree in GRC, I will transfer to Arizona State University to pursue my career in accounting. Therefore, I would say the major that I am interest is accounting because I think I can do well in this course. Furthermore, I was born and rise in Indonesia. I am taking this class is to complete my AA degree and I also want to learn more about women and religious. Moreover, I haven’t taken any other philosophy classes and this is my first time taking a philosophy class. Something unique about myself is every day before I am going to sleep I have to watching a movie. 2. I think from the material in this week every philosophy have a variety of understanding or concept that addressed by each philosopher. In my view, feminism is a social movement that seeking the equality for women and focus on the right of women as an individual. Back then this movement can arise because of the social injustices between women and men, and the discriminate based on social standing. In some point, feminism give a lot of advantage for women, it is allowing women to do something that they weren’t before. Therefore, I believe that every human should be treating equal to other no matter what the gender is. However, not everyone think that this movement is beneficial. Today, feminism have been criticized because many people think that feminism is a movement that spreading discrimination against men. Moreover, feminism always been criticized for being dominant white and failure to support the lower class.
