As you know, obviously, I am Violet. I go to Mountain View Preparatory in Cottonwood; I am writing to you as a part of Ms. McFarland’s Social Studies class. I enjoy math, history, and the universe, as well as reading. I love fantasy and science fiction, especially when relating to time travel and medieval worlds. I don’t know what I want to do in the future, to the point of being minorly depressing. I might like to go into medieval or viking history though. The way that I handle adversity varies according to the type of challenge. If the trial relates to something I already pride myself on, such as math, I will strive to succeed in overcoming the obstacle. However, if the challenge is emotional or in an area I struggle with, I tend to ignore the problem and hope it goes away. I am aware that this is not an acceptable reaction, and, thus, I plan on taking steps to conquer this habit. Note: plan. I also have issues with following things through. I can often find a unique or unusual solution, but I am not exceedingly innovative. When I play barbies with my sister (don’t judge), she comes up with all of the creative story lines. For example, we have a wig master, ice cream slavery, maulings, twins that try to bake their cousin, mouse children, money mills, and other such things. Currently, we are making a series of barbie movies. We make all of the costumes, paint all of the sets, do all of the hair, write all of the lines, and film all of the scenes.
