Human behavior is influenced by a number of factors and human beings are complex creatures. That’s why I believe that in order to understand one person, and the reasons of his or her actions we should know about that particular person’s past, dramatic experiences, and way of thinking, social values they identify with and exposed to etc. In short, to see through their eyes, first we need to know how to look and what to look for.
I have always had a very multi-faceted personality. This acted both as a blessing and a curse for me, as I have been often good at the things I try to do but also distracted because of all the other things I can do. In the end, it kept me from getting exceptionally good at one specific thing. However, having tried many different activities, I was able to gain a rich perspective and strengthen my vision about life and its possibilities. Willing to experience a lot of things, I threw myself into life often, I learned not to be afraid of the possible mistakes I do but I embraced them as new opportunities to learn. People always act and make choices to fit in certain types of social norms. These limitations and barriers follow themselves. They carry you within like a tornado does; once you get caught there will be no way out. It becomes a great struggle to overcome the system and be the person you dream of. When I was fifteen, I took a huge risk. It was my first encounter with the system, I took a look at it in the eye and I decided to defy it. There comes a time in Turkey, when you are still clueless about life, you have to choose a certain path. At the end of your first year in high school you have to decide whether you want to make a career on social sciences, become an engineer, or decide if you are more into literature. What happens if you have more than one area of interest and you want to know more about it before you choose what you are going to dedicate your life
