The medical sociology career I am researching is as a Rehabilitation Specialist. A Rehabilitation Specialist is a healthcare career that assists people recovering from an injury or illness. These injuries or illnesses can pertain to mental, physical, or emotional disabilities with the goal of helping people return to their daily activities.
