Relationship Analysis A little over three years ago I fell in love expectantly. I was sixteen at the time and I had just got my first job. My first day ever there I met someone that I had no idea I would have a future with. My life turned upside down in the best way possible. It was a summer of pure bliss that turned into a long-term relationship. We have had many obstacles but have managed to get through everything together. I started my first job at a place called Lilli Putt. I was working evenings and was a cashier there. My first day on the job I met a man named Anthony. He happened to be my manager on the evening shift. I decided to get out of my comfort zone and I talked to him. Our first conversation was so boring and dull that I still remember it was oddly memorable! We both were shy at first but started to talk regularly. “Interpersonal communication is a dynamic form of communication between two (or more) people in which the messages exchanged significantly influence their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships” (McCornack, 2013). Our problem is we both have a hard time explaining how we feel about a situation. I tend to hold my emotions in and then it results in effecting my emotions and behaviors which tend to escalade. It’s a common struggle in relationships. We both work full time and I’m also a full time student. I use to say that if I didn’t go to school or work as much I’m sure our relationship would be better. But at the end of the day, it comes down to what we do with the time we both have together. We have our own apartment and are lucky to live together but we still barley see each other. Communication is something we strive for every day. It’s so important to spend quality time with a loved one however, life gets the best of us and sometimes it’s not as easy as we would like it to
