Civil rights are those rights that are granted by the government to the people. These rights are provided to the people to protect them from discrimination that are based on sex, religion, color of their skin etc. Civil rights also basically guarantee of equal citizenship and equal opportunity. It is out of rule to track someone unknowingly. It is a violation of law under fourth amendment. It is also the violation of individual rights to privacy. Many advancing technologies like cell phone tracking, location tracking harms many individuals dealing their private lives According to the fourth amendment “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers against unreasonable searches and seizures shall not be violated. The meaning of this amendment is that we the individual are safe from unreasonable searches. For the search the police officer should have a legal warrant. The difference between both have been interchangeably. 6 Both civil rights and civil liberties refers to the different kinds of protection provided by the government to the people. In one-point civil liberties protects individual against government action, in other hand civil rights refers to the positive action of the government, which treat every people equally. Civil liberties provide people right to speak, right to follow the religion they want. Whereas the civil rights help people get the equal right, treating people equally based on their caste, race, color of their skin etc. I think they are in-tact. As the civil rights and civil liberties are still the same fulfilling the demands of individual in their own way. Helping people with their rights and needs.The bills of rights and the all fourteen amendment are still in the constitution book providing rights and rules to the government and people.
