Midsummer Night’s Dream is a Shakespearean written play that revolves around relationships and the different types of drama that go along with them. Relationships between teenages now is very much related to this play. In the play Lysander is supposed to marry Hermia but Puck (a fairy) placed a purple rose on Lysander’s forehead causing him to fall in love with Helena. Lysander’s real love is for Hermia but now he is chasing after Helena. All this chaos is causing drama which relates to teenage relationships today.

As teenagers experience stress, hormones and emotions, they begin to think they need to be in a relationship. When teenagers think about relationships they begin to think about sex. Lysander and Hermia’s relationship would be considered a teenage relationship. This is because while they were sleeping in the woods while in separate beds Lysander was wanting to have sex with Hermia. Lysander thought it would be okay do so since they were about to get married anyway.
