In Mark twain’s “War Prayer” the story shows the people who are showing support to their troops who are preparing to go to war. It can be argued that most of the people are religious people who believe in god; however the story gets very interesting when one of the American troops decided to pray to go to led them into victory but that troop also prays to shed blood and kill off all of the enemies who stand in their way. A pray asking to bring harm to others is totally against the faith of religion. There are many different types of religion but, praying to god to bring harm to others is completely out of the religion procedure.
