Rembrandt Rembrandt is one of the most skilled and unique painters. His work is enjoyed all over the world. He is known for his wonderful self and biblical images. Rembrandt painted his subjects realistically until his style took a turn involving the use of light. He highlights or lights up the important parts of the image while the rest fades into darkness or shadows. This is the technique he is famous for. Rembrandt has accomplished so much in his lifetime. Shakespeare was very eloquent and could understand human nature very well. Some of his most famous plays are, Romeo, and Juliet, Hamlet, and Macbeth. Shakespeare not only could understand human nature, but he was a very eloquent writer. The main accomplishments that he was known for was writing 154 sonnets which were all published. A sonnet is a poem containing fourteen lines using any of a number of formal rhyme schemes, in English typically having ten syllables per line. 126 sonnets were to a young nobleman. Another 26 concentrated on a woman. Shakespeare also wrote narrative poems such as, "Adonis and Venus." A surprising fact about Shakespeare was that he invented words that are still used to this day.
