In my opinion emotion can have a massive impact on our motivation, and it can be amplified when we add all the physical changes that happens in our body when our emotions are compromised. It was develop by William James and Carl Lange, both psychologists. It is the most valid one because it states that as we deal with different situations, our brain reacts to these situations causing our body to change, increasing heart beat, causing tremors and stomach illnesses. These physical reactions at the same time trigger emotions like happiness, sadness or fear among others. As our brain deals with these physical changes it also triggers different emotions. For me it is the most valid because there is a direct link between physical changes and emotional reactions.

The Evolutionary Theory of Emotion proposed by Charles Darwin for me is the least valid of the theories because it just states that our emotions were responsible of us as human beings been able to adapt to our environment and survive. Because our feelings we search for mates and reproduced and because of hate or fear we looked for a fight or escaped from danger. I can compare thinking in a human brain with the capacity of processing information in a computer. Thinking is linked directly with our intelligence. Intelligence can be described as our ability to learn and understand every situation, process that information in a way that we are able to react different next time we face that same challenge in a better way, with better results. In that same type of situations we engage our creativity, which is our way to create ideas exploring possibilities that we can use to effectively solve problems. Creativity is one of the most important aspects in my life as a musician. We can use our creativity not only to solve problems, but also to entertain ourselves and others. Creativity can say a lot about someone’s intelligence. I think that the more creative someone is there is more potential for that person to be more intelligent. I think also that intelligence in a person is a result of the understanding capacity of that person or the ability to re-think a specific situation and develop solutions. In my case, english is my second language and when I joined the military I did not know anything other that a few words and more less knew how to write.
