In the middle of the fourteenth century, a cultural transformation was initiated in Italy and was called rihascimento however, it was subsequently known as renaissance in France. This was an era that separated the middle ages from the modern age, in which it was accompanied by humanism and the reformation. The renaissance artists I believe most inspired future artists and thinkers is Leonardo da Vinci. Leonardo da Vinci was born in Vinci, near Florence and was the illegitimate son of Caterina, a local peasant girl, and Ser Piero da Vinci, who was a notary public. Da Vinci was a painter, architect, inventor and student of all things scientific, he was epitomized the term “renaissance man”, him and Michelangelo best embody the new concept
