The Mona Lisa painting represented the philosophy of humanism. With the colors used to bring forth, the blending and shading of the paints, Da Vinci drew focus on the human. The woman was very simple with no loud clothes or jewelry to take away from her beauty, with an expressive posture. He accentuated on the beauty of the face giving it life by not applying eyebrows on the portrait as the women. He also clothed the woman to retain her virtue as women were given high regard during the period. The sexuality posed by the woman of this time was of great emphasis when it came to worship as well as respect granted. As for Michelangelo he specialized in the nudity of the male figure giving them immense power and stature. He brought his painting to life by application of different paints and shading which in turn gave the somewhat movement. To him the human body was related to the religious acts as he associated it to the creator.in the portrait, he districts the different age difference of Adam and God by representing Adam as a young lad and God as an old man with white hair on his head and his beard. it also takes in to account the nature as the angles are seen to have flowing hair as if being blown by the wind.
