November 2, 2017 Material Report Religion is a worldwide foundation in human society. It is found in all societies, past and present. Religion has changed throughout our societies by politics, culture, and ethnic humanities ranging from the earliest of eras. We humans have an ultimate desire to believe beyond what we actually perceive to be true. Throughout my life span I have come cross many religions and beliefs that I morally support due to a symbolic influence. In my early childhood years I was introduced to Christianity by my parents. After years passed by, I outgrew the Christian religion and sought to find a new path. Subsequently my heart desire to fill its void of insecurity.
Growing up in a community that revolves around religion has become controversial since everyone has a different beliefs. Religion is very hard concept to understand since it is intertwined with culture, race and tradition. No matter where you go; you simply cannot escape religion. Growing up I had a hard time committing to a faith since I felt the need to explore other options. I did not allow myself to commit to something that I merely had a belief in. During the course of history religion has been primarily based on love for our mighty creator, fear and acceptance. When receiving a pendant as a gift with the image of El Niño de Atocha I felt this instant relief of security. I put all my faith and belief into this image of the child Christ because he helps those in need. As a way to show my devotion I researched my pendant of El Nino De Atocha I found many legends depicting how he was created. El Niño de Atocha is a Roman Catholic child of Christ.
