If you are looking to invest in a company that in the pursuit of virtual reality, the best choice for this, is the company Google. Google has only been around for about 12 years, but it is probably the best search engine and already it has began developing phones and started to make Google cardboard. Due to all these reasons, Google is a good company to invest in that is pursuing augmented reality or virtual reality.

Virtual reality means a “computer-generated simulation of a three-dimensional image or environment that can be interacted with in a seemingly real or physical way by a person using special electronic equipment, such as a helmet with a screen inside or gloves fitted with sensors. (Google Definitions). Google doesn’t make helmets with a screen inside or gloves fitted with sensor, but they have released Google Cardboard a few years ago. Jump is a virtual reality filmmaking that Google developed. “The company has designed a 16-lens camera that can record videos across 360 degrees, and that it’s developing a software system that can turn these videos into the kind of immersive, stereoscopic experiences the goggles are intended to provide.”(WIRED). GoPro also partnered with Google to build one with their own cameras. Once videos are taken, videos from each individual camera is put together to recreate the scene while seeing different viewpoints. The finished video then can be viewed with a Cardboard Viewer. Seeing the progress of Google, analysts say, “Among Wall Street analysts, Dix is on an island. Some 42 of the 46 analysts (91 percent) tracked by FactSet recommend buying the stock, while three say investors should hold on to it.” (CNBC). This is saying that the majority of the analysts say that Google is a good stock to invest
