Who really is the murder of Hae Min Lee? Two high school teenagers who go to Woodland High School are suspects of Hae Min Lee’s murder. Hae was murdered by manual strangulation, but there was not enough evidence to prove Adnan guilty. Adnan’s friend Jay admitted to helping Adnan bury the body. An investigative reporter named Sarah Koenig made a podcast in 2014 about Lee’s murder. Sarah collects evidence of Adnan’s case to see if he is truly guilty or not. The podcast has become particularly popular given the circumstances of the case. Hae liked/loved Adnan. She would write about him in her diary.
