To celebrate this milestone, we will be celebrating with different promotions all over United States. One of the ideas we want to communicate with our customers is that Play-Doh is not any toy, but one capable of creating unforgettable memories while also providing the benefit of developing different learning skills. Some of these include strengthening children’s hand muscles, developing two-handed skills, fine motor skills, pre-writing skills and hand-eye coordination, and finally, keeping children busy and stretching their attention span. We want the selling strategy of this campaign to appeal through feelings and emotions. We want to provoke in current and potential customers the desire to buy Play-Doh for their children to use. We want them to think that the 60th Anniversary of this product is not as any other birthday, but that it symbolizes the creation of thousands of worlds that were born in our imagination. We want our target market to associate pleasing memories whenever they hear the name of Play-Doh, or whenever they say our product in any stores’ shelves.

We chose this medium because they are always looking for educational resources to teach their students. o In our website, we will be adding an additional tab for schools. In it, we will be providing teachers with different tips and ideas on how to spark and encourage the creativity of their students through Play-Doh. o Since it will be the 60th anniversary, we will also provide education discounts for up to 60% off for school institutions. Advertising banners will be created and place throughout sites, such as amazon, BlogSpot, eBay and more.
Parents o Parents with children ages 3 to 9 will also be targeted though sites such as amazon, Facebook, parental blogs, eBay, and toy distributors’ websites. o We will also offer them to receive newsletters with different 60th anniversary promotions.
