Two names consistently dominate this discussion, Michael Jordan, and LeBron James. Both players have achieved legendary status, leaving a lasting mark on the sport. Jordan is widely considered the greatest scorer in NBA history, averaging 30.1 points per game over his career, according to NBA.com. He was also a ferocious defender, winning the Defensive Player of the Year award in 1988. Jordan led the Chicago Bulls to six NBA championships in the 1990s, and he was named Finals MVP each time. And with those attributes Jordan may be true James, who I would personally say is one of the most versatile players in NBA history, with the ability to score, rebound, and pass at an elevated level. He is also one of the most durable players in the league, having played in every single game of his career except for one. James has led three different teams to NBA championships, and he has won Finals MVP each time. The GOAT debate in the NBA will be going on forever, and this is one of the most debated questions in the sports world, and more specifically in the basketball community.
