During this period the High Renaissance art exhibited the revival of ancient Greek and Rome style of painting and sculpture in many of the artworks it produced. Similarly, in Italy at this time some of the influential painters were creating one great, flawless art by mastering new different artistic techniques like linear perspective and color composition combined with the introduction of oil in paintings. Verrocchio had a studio in Florence where he trained talented young artists like Da Vinci with the best obtainable schooling there was during the Renaissance Era. It was at the studio where Da Vinci mastered the frequently used painting and sculpture techniques of the Renaissance art under the supervision of Verrocchio. As Leonardo started to show immense talent on his works of art, he was encouraged to open his own studio and continue his journey as an artist even though he continued to collaborate with Verrocchio on some painting for a few years. Eventually, Leonardo became an independent artist when he was 26 years old and began to produce his own works of art that shaped the Renaissance Era.
