Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni, better known as Michelangelo was an influential artist of the Renasissance period. He was known to be an Italian painter, sculptor, architect, and poet. He worked for a number of important figures of his time where he has made works in art, several of which being regarded as the greatest and most famous in existence.
