Milton Friedman was an economist, a writer and a "prominent advocate of free markets". He won the Nobel Prize in economics in 1976 for "his achievements in the field of consumption analysis, monetary history and theory, and for his demonstration of the complexity of stabilization policy."
After watching a couple of videos of Milton Friedman and taking a look to some of his articles I can definitely say he was a really interesting and intelligent man, passionate about economics, people behaviors in the market, his studies, and his writings. He really made his audience ask themselves and think about if what they were saying was right. He challenged them and even though they were right he also gave them something more to wonder and think on. …show more content…

Friedman 2 points, one about slavery and the other one about colonialism. The man says that rich and powerful countries got their wealth because of the other countries' slavery, but Mr. Friedman answers to this questions and prove the man he was wrong. He explained him that wherever there is freedom there is capitalism and that it is a completely false statement that the wealth from the west was achieved at the expense of exploiting the colonies. Mr. Friedman also says to the audience that people still think that if some one wins, some one has to loose but he says that in a free market both people can be benefited. He also tells everyone they have to think before judging situations. Something I liked on this video and also in his other videos is that Mr. Friedman had an answer to every question someone asked and a response to every comment someone told him. He always answered them sure of what he was saying, sure that he was the one
