The Holocaust’s Haunting Legacy: Impact on Today’s world

The Holocaust marked history as one of the tragic events in the history of the world. How should this topic be approached this topic with respect? Night By Elie Wiesel is a unique book that can capture the perspective of a young man that is trying to grasp the idea that his life has been reduced to constant cycle of; eat, sleep, work, repeat. These sources allow anyone with internet access to be able to learn about any primary or secondary source document. Using these resources everyone will be able to reach a deeper understanding of how these events played out. Wiesel’s experience was a unique one, not very many people were able to escape Auschwitz, and he was able to escape unharmed for the most part. Wiesel’s story starts off by telling us about how Moshe, the man that managed to escape the nazis and come back. But even though he said he saw terrible things, no one believed him. Moshe’s story is an important one, it shows just how surprising the Holocaust really was. No one expected the Nazis to invade Poland, but when it happened it changed everything. Wiesel tells us of the sights he saw while inside the camps. These things show us what the majority of the people in the camps had to go through on a day to day basis. Wiesel truly is one of the most inspiring figures of his time, his work in literature has inspired and taught millions of students and adults
