This idea is brought about due to their past history of being involved in dog fights and dog attacks.
When many people think about Pit Bulls, they often get scared and want nothing to do with them. Pit Bulls are viewed as dangerous and scary. The truth behind this is that Pit Bulls are only as harmful and scary as you make them. For these animals life is pretty tough, from getting banned to getting put into the ring to fight. These animals should be treated the same way any other animal would be treated, with love and compassion.
Across the nation animal shelters are flooded with unwanted or homeless dogs, 74% of them being pitbulls. It is strongly believed, by some, that animals are not born mean they are made mean. Many people like to jump to the conclusion that Pitbulls and similar dogs, are naturally mean, but in reality they make the best family pets if treated
Pit Bulls are a loyal, smart breed that thrive as part of the family. They are great with both majors and minors. You might have second thoughts about this breed because it doesn’t have that cute looking face... But rest assured that this breed is not as dangerous as it looks, regular training and ownership.
