Robert William (Willy) Pickton is the most notorious killer Canada has ever seen and arguably the most ruthless the world has witnessed. The now sixty eight year old is convicted of six first degree murders but expected to be responsible for forty-nine or more. With a span of killings from 1983 to 2002 he raped and murdered only women specifically prostitutes in the area of Vancouver and Port Coquitlam. The Pickton's case was hard enough to think about but it had a very strange and bizarre twist, he fed the victims to his pigs. This would have a toll on Robert in his later adult years. Robert was so horrified by his childhood memories of these showers he would hardly ever wash himself later on. This cause him to smell like pig guts and manore. Some people may think this would have no impact on what he did but it may be one of the biggest reasons. One major reason for that is Canada has a very low crime rate and the need for investigative teams is very little but we do have a system that works for regular cases but not for high profile cases. Constantly Canadian forensic investigators are messing up high profile cases especially in the court because of two types of investigators. One type is the type that are good speakers but are not good investigators, they can deliver the message to the jury but you don't have the meat, the evidence that will win the jury. Another reason is simple and plain, they are nerds. As mean as it sounds it's true, some investigators are too knowledgeable in the science aspect of forensics but not the delivery of the evidence. In other words these people confuse the jury and only they can deliver what they find so their is no one else more language smart to translate science to english.
