I was reviewing my notes of all the cases I have done in my eight years with Sherlock Holmes. I am inspired by his resolve to decipher mysteries to aid others without regard for wealth or fame. Many cases were strange, others ridiculous, quite a few were amusing and entertaining. The best of my recollection was my first case with Mr. Holmes. I stole a dress and found a wig in the street. I adopted the name Virginia Smith for my female self. I was easily able to convince Helen to be friends with me and lured her into a walk where then I held her as hostage. I sent a man I found in the street to send a telegram notifying you about Helen.
