The prayer of Saint Francis has been the first prayer I have read in a very long time that has resonated with me. I found that the prayer not only served as a religious tool but also appealed deeply to, what I believe, are desires every human being has. Namely, the desire to put forth good energy and kind intentions into the world. Normally when it comes to prayer I feel lost because I often lack context as to what the prayer is supposed to mean because of my non-Catholic background.
