PROBLEM PROFILE 1. Many Animals like Monkey, dogs, rats and other are burnt , poisoned and drugged in the laboratories for economic reasons and sometimes because of old habbits. 2. Most animal cruelty laws are designed to protect only companion animals or pets and not the other animals like stray dogs, cows and bulls as well as other allied wandering animals. 3. Lack of proper implementation of animal protection laws. 1.7 HYPOTHESES: 1. Animal suffer in the name of religion, health, science, commerce etc. 2. Although all states have anti-cruelty laws for animals but these are not specifically accepted by the society at large. 3. Lack of public awareness amongst the masses on the animal protection laws 1.8 RESEARCH METHODOLOGY 1. RESEARCH METHOD: Researcher has used library modes to analyses historical records and documents in support of the observations. 2. RESEARCH APPLICATION: Researcher is doing applied research in this particular study and is trying to ascertain solution for each particular problem. 3. This particular study is analytical in nature as the researcher has used facts and information already existing and to assess the available data to arrive at a critical evaluation. 4.
