Economics is a science that deals with various problems which can be summarized in four questions: What products are produced in a society and in what quantities? How these products are produced? How are these products distributed to the members of society? How to increase the amount of products, namely how to develop the economy of a society?
Produced by Kip Anderson and Keegan Kuhn, the Netflix documentary What The Health is available. This documentary focuses on the connection between our dietary choices and both our health and the environment. In addition to talking about health issues, they also emphasize how corporations, the economy, and public policy all impact what we eat. One of the initial arguments claimed that the primary causes of cancer, diabetes, obesity, and heart disease are meat and dairy products. The advantages of a vegan diet are promoted and covered in this documentary.
A society in which all people live long, healthy lives is the vision that Healthy People 2020 has set for themselves. Healthy People 2020 was developed under the leadership of the Federal Interagency Workgroup (FIW). Healthy People 2020 is the framework of an exhaustive collaborative process among the U.S. Department of Health and Human services (HHS) and other federal agencies, public stakeholders, and the advisory committee. Healthy People 2020 provides specific and important areas of emphasis where action must take place in the United States to achieve better health by the year 2020.
These economic concepts were scarcity and choice and self -interest. The first economic concept of scarcity and choice is seen when the authors discuss money as a limited resource. The limited resources which in this case is money by incomes that cause people to decline health insurance coverage. According to Sered and Fernandopulle, it is an individual’s choice not to get any health insurance because they cannot afford it. Sometimes it comes down to choosing to pay their bills or have proper health coverage.
Economics is the study of the production, distribution and consumption of Goods and Services. Economics is also about making choices. We make all kinds of choices everyday. How much should I spend on gas. What’s the fastest way to work, what should I have for breakfast, should I go to school, should I do my homework, etc.
Final Reflection The health fair project was an overall success to me. Everyone’s board was coordinated with their topic, but with our topic the people the came in to look at them tended to want to leave as fast as possible, since STD’s can be an awkward topic. It was an interesting experience to talk about STD’s. From original idea of getting help around the Quad Cities with sickness because it was going to getting colder out.
What does it mean to you to be an American? The word itself is very broad when it comes to describing those who live in America. To me, being American means have access to multiple resources and having rights, though there are some misconceptions. Many people view Americans as obese and lazy. It is not only depicted on the internet, but also in movies and tv shows.
An economic system is the system of produsing, distributing and sharing goods within a society. The economic system is made of people and establishments, including their relationships to productive resources. The main economic problem which all economic systems try to solve is known as "Scarcity",which means we all face limitation,so we all have to make choices as we can't get what we want. However, societies have developed different broad economic approaches to manage their resources.
According to Webster, Wellness is the state or condition of being in good physical and mental health. The economy is a social system with in the environment where as some people work for others to make resources into goods others purchase for their needs. For instance, a local main factor here with its 2 other locations from a close by city to NY produces school furniture from basic desk in the wood plant to items from its two steel plants. The steel plants manufacture lab equipment, heating units, hoods, other operating room and/or sterilization machines needed in hospitals and surgical sights, at its steel plants. This companies owner with his group of employees from every level of engineering, marketing, sales, all the way to the factory workers themselves and the installers produce the means. Means that are needed and purchased by places like the local Bethel University Diagnostic Center, Surgical independent places as well as our very own HCMC lab testing
A health triangle is the representation of the three elements of health, and they’re physical, mental/emotional, and social health. Both you and a teenager can improve and have a healthy/balanced triangle by taking care of those three elements. Some ways to do that is doing physical/mental/social activities such as running, hanging out with friends and family, and even doing puzzles. It is important to have a health triangle—especially a balanced one—because it can make you physically fit and healthy, it can improve your mental/emotional health, and improve your social life.

Physical resources give a healthcare organization a competitive advantage, by, for example, using up-to-date equipment’s, and having quality and enough medical supplies aid in offering quality services. Describe three of the environmental influences an organization faces. Provide one example of each and describe how an organization is impacted, either positively or negatively, by each: There are five main external environment forces which can influence an organization (Ashim gupta, 2009). They are technology, competition, resources, consumers, and laws and regulations. I am going to discuss consumers, competition, and resources. The first environmental influence is customers.
