NS has a sister who is 9 years older. Ms. NS reported that she and her sister had been very close to each other. She goes on to say that she used to extend the sketching process out for as long as possible, but she was not sure why. Jayden looks up from her sketch and says, “Maybe you were just trying to keep them away from your mom.” Jayden’s response makes Grace think and recall as to why she actually kept the men away for so long. Although the conversation may not hold any importance to a view, this is actually a major step in Grace’s life.
In Twelve Angry Men, juror 8 was a necessity to the trial as he was the only thing in the way of the deliberation immediately ending on a guilty verdict, six pages into the play.
