While Circe spoke to Odysseus, morning arrived. As the new day arrived Circe left, going back up to her island. Odysseus made way to his ship, his shipmates quickly scrambling into place by their oars. The wind was with them , letting the men have a smooth take off from shore. As they took off, Odysseus talked to his men, “Dear friends, Circe has told me that we were to run into Sirens, so she told me what could happen to us if we don’t follow her words.
