Kingdom Come by Mark Waid, and Alex Ross is a novel that inspires the reader to have hope for the future. The story revolves around a dystopian future in which older heroes retired due to the immoral acceptance of Joker's killing, leaving a new generation of reckless superhumans to wreak havoc in the city. However, Superman and his allies are on a quest to bring justice and order back to the world while confining those who refuse to acknowledge their moral codes. Kingdom Come serves as a symbolic view towards the main topic of responsibility as we follow Norman McCay's visions, where we view a series of events that will help determine Norman's final judgment. Since her responsibility as a hero is to set an example for the newer generation of heroes, she is on the wrong track. Killing would illustrate the older generation’s hypocrisy and only anger those in battle. Before, on page 179, panel 3, Superman claims, “Only the weak succumb to brutality.”(Waid). Like any superhero, her goal is to earn justice. However, she loses her sense of consequences, ultimately participating in Armageddon rather than ending it. Accepting her loss of connection to her homeland ended up as a breaking point, as the mentally strong will never cross the line to ending a life. After all, her primary role is to be a leader, not a mere soldier, contributing to many deaths. As a leader, her responsibility is to strive for change within the newer generations. Wonder Woman's responsibility as a leader connects to the theme of Armageddon, or the last battle between good and evil. During the war, Batman does not judge her for killing Von Bach. He mainly tried to redirect her views by reflecting on her actions and to regain her true identity as a
