In the entertainment world sports marketing is crucial for the success of their industry. Relying on the top of the line marketing techniques in order to intrigue and capture the attention of the targeted audience. Thus, making it easy and convenient to be a part of the endless sporting events that are being marketed. Without sports marketing the entertainment industry would suffer greatly, and could lose multiple sources of revenue.

One of those industries relying on the help of marketing and promotions is the world of motorsports. They are a sponsorship driven entertainer needing funding to be successful. Making it imperative to have marketing fuel their efforts to keep getting the sufficient funding. Some of the events that generate revenue for them are kart tracks, fan experiences, and hospitality/meeting events. No matter what type of event though still needs to be promoted properly to ensure these events thrive. The track owners depend on this money as well for up keep, sells tickets/merchandise to fans, and provides funds for prize money.
