1. What “rules” have you seen from your teachers regarding confusing wording or ambiguous requirements. Describe two rules broken by your teachers with an example for each. (50-70 words)

I have taken test that have very good structure and consist of appropriate vocabulary, yet I have also encountered test that go against some of these requirements. For example, rules number 1 and 2 the use of all of the above and none of the above have been used in many of my test. This makes things very confusing because it doesn’t allow you to point out which answer choice is related to the question. I have also encountered rule number 15 fill in the blank questions that have a single blank throughout the question and at the end of the question. This makes it very confusing to answer, because without the single blank word through the question chances are you will not fill in the blank at the end of the question.

Though there were a few that went against the rules, such as rule number 36. On some of my secondary age test throughout middle school I encountered matching test that did involved more than 17 questions. This made it very difficult sometimes and would eventually lead me to start guessing on some of my answer choices. I have also encountered rule number 17, matching test that have more stems that answer options. These occurred sometimes simply because my teachers didn’t notice it before printing or because they said they wanted to make the test a bit more
